NADRA Launches New Registration Center at Karachi City Court
The National Database and Registration Authority has inaugurated a new registration center at Karachi City Court to provide faster and more convenient access to its services for lawyers and their families. The move aims to reduce delays and streamline identity-related processes for legal professionals in the city.
The facility was officially opened by Rahim Awan alongside Aamir Ali Khan. During the ceremony, officials emphasized the importance of providing efficient services to lawyers and their families while ensuring comfort and accessibility at the new center.
According to NADRA, the center is specifically designed to cater to lawyers associated with Karachi City Court and the local bar, as well as their immediate family members. The authority highlighted that the facility will make registration and other identity-related services easier, faster, and more convenient.
The new center features two one-window service counters and an air-conditioned waiting area with seating for 15 people. It is expected to serve between 60 to 70 individuals daily, reducing waiting times and improving the overall user experience. NADRA officials stated that the setup is part of broader efforts to enhance service delivery and bring essential services closer to the public.
Lawyers and legal staff in Karachi have welcomed the initiative, noting that the proximity of the facility to the court will save time and streamline routine administrative processes. The new center also reflects NADRA’s ongoing commitment to expanding its network of service centers across Pakistan to meet growing demand.
With this new addition, NADRA aims to strengthen public access to critical services, improve operational efficiency, and support professionals who rely on timely identity verification and registration processes.
