Asia-Pacific’s Largest Meta Llama Hackathon Comes to Pakistan
Pakistan is set to host the largest Meta Llama Hackathon in the Asia-Pacific region, marking a significant milestone in the country’s tech landscape. This event, organized by the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT), the Ministry of IT&T, and Ignite National Technology Fund, aims to leverage the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) through Meta’s Llama 2 and Llama 3 models.
NICAT: Leading the Charge in Aerospace and DeepTech
NICAT, Pakistan’s foremost Aerospace and DeepTech innovation hub, is at the forefront of this initiative. A joint venture between Ignite NTF, MoITT, and the National Aerospace and Science Technologies Park (NASTP), NICAT is ideally positioned to drive the development of AI solutions that can revolutionize various sectors. NASTP, under the aegis of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), is a nationwide network of Science and Technology Parks dedicated to fostering innovation in aerospace and other scientific fields.

The Finals will be organized on October 02, 2024, in Singapore, with prize money of up to $100,000.
