Road Testing in Karachi
A lime yellow Deepal S07 SUV was spotted in the Port Qasim area of Karachi, close to the Master Changan Motors Limited plant. This sighting suggests that the SUV is undergoing road tests, marking a significant step towards its official launch in Pakistan.
The appearance of these vehicles has excited automotive enthusiasts, hinting at the upcoming launch of Deepal’s electric models. While official details remain confidential, Deepal has initiated its social media presence on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, indicating a strategic marketing plan.
Collaboration with Tech Giants
Deepal is an electric vehicle brand under Changan, created in collaboration with Huawei and CATL. Huawei has developed the vehicle’s operating system, Harmony OS 4, which runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 platform. The vehicles are powered by a 68kWh battery from CATL, the world’s leading battery manufacturer for seven consecutive years. This battery offers a remarkable range of over 530 kilometers on a single charge, significantly outperforming competitors like the Audi e-tron.

Innovative Design
The design of these vehicles has been led by Bertrand Bach, a former designer at General Motors known for his work on Lamborghini models. The Deepal vehicles feature a sleek, modern exterior with frameless doors and a sporty “Fastback” design on the L07 Sedan, merging futuristic design elements with a premium sports car aesthetic.
