The Lahore University of Management Sciences hosted a distinguished delegation of academic leaders from Bangladesh as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation in higher education.
The delegation, led by Mamun Ahmed, Chairman of the University Grants Commission Bangladesh, was facilitated by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan.
The visit reflects a strategic push toward fostering cross-border academic engagement, bringing together Vice Chancellors and senior representatives from leading Bangladeshi universities.
LUMS has been actively expanding its academic presence in Bangladesh through:

- Ongoing collaboration with the University of Chittagong
During discussions with Vice Chancellor Ali Cheema, Provost Tariq Jadoon, and faculty members, both sides explored opportunities for sustainable academic partnerships.

Prof. Mamun Ahmed described the engagement as a critical platform for knowledge exchange and stressed the importance of regional collaboration in achieving academic excellence.
