Vivo has quietly expanded its S60 smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo S60t, a feature-packed model aimed at users seeking strong camera capabilities, a high-refresh-rate display and long battery life.
The new smartphone is positioned in the upper mid-range segment and carries a price of around $540. It combines a large 7,200mAh battery with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and a triple-camera system designed to deliver enhanced photography and zoom performance.
One of the phone’s major highlights is its camera setup, which includes a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor. Vivo has also equipped the device with 100x zoom capability and dual optical image stabilization, giving the S60t a strong focus on long-distance photography.
The Vivo S60t features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling, animations and gameplay compared with conventional 60Hz smartphone screens.
The display also supports 10-bit color technology and a P3 wide color gamut, allowing the phone to produce a broader range of colors. HDR support further enhances the viewing experience when watching compatible videos and other high-dynamic-range content.
For gaming, the screen offers a touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz. A higher touch response rate can make interactions feel more responsive, particularly during fast-paced games where quick controls are important.
Vivo says the smartphone achieves a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio, giving the front of the device a modern appearance with a large display area.
The phone measures 157.52 × 74.33mm, while its thickness ranges between 7.79mm and 7.92mm depending on the selected color. Its weight can reach up to 207 grams, which is understandable given the large battery capacity and hardware included inside the device.
Under the hood, the Vivo S60t is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The processor is designed for mid-range and upper mid-range smartphones, offering a balance between performance and power efficiency.
Battery capacity is another standout feature of the new Vivo phone. The S60t packs a 7,200mAh battery, which is considerably larger than the batteries commonly found in many mainstream smartphones.
The large battery could appeal to users who spend extended periods browsing the internet, watching videos, playing games or using camera features. It may also reduce the frequency with which users need to recharge their phone during normal daily use.
Vivo has given the S60t a durable build with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. These ratings provide additional protection and make the device better suited to everyday conditions where exposure to dust or water may occur.
The smartphone is available in three color options: Starry Sea, Early Summer Green and Midsummer Night. The different finishes give buyers several choices depending on their preferred style.
With its 100x zoom, 50MP periscope telephoto camera, dual OIS, 144Hz AMOLED display and 7,200mAh battery, the Vivo S60t is positioned as a versatile smartphone for consumers who prioritize photography, entertainment and battery endurance.
At around $540, Vivo is targeting buyers who want premium-style features without moving into the highest-priced flagship category. The combination of camera technology, display specifications and battery capacity makes the S60t one of the more feature-rich additions to the S60 series.
